Which GPA is used to determine Honors since graduation occurs before grades are finalized?

University Honors will be based on the in residence GPA at the beginning of the semester of graduation. Honors called at the ceremony may differ from actual honors earned during degree certification which happens after all the final grades are reported. The GPA cutoffs for University Honors are listed on the College of Liberal Arts Web site (http://www.utexas.edu/cola/graduation/honors/).
