Ask Libby

What will be written on my diploma and/or transcript?

The diploma for most graduates in the College of Liberal Arts reads "Bachelor of Arts". The exception is for those graduating with a B. S. in Psychology in which case it will read "Bachelor of Science in Psychology". The diploma does not list a major. University Honors is the only other potential addition to your diploma, and would read "Honors", "High Honors", or "Highest Honors" as appropriate.

The transcript lists Degree (ex: Bachelor of Arts), Date (ex: May 20, 2006), and Major (ex: Government). If you have more than one major, they are all listed on your transcript. The minor is not listed on the transcript.
