What is a waitlist?

Students use online waitlists to indicate that they wish to be added
to a class if a seat becomes available. Academic departments use online
waitlists to manage registration in some classes. The online waitlist
system adds eligible students to classes on a first-come first-serve
basis.  Students use their UT EIDs to access their waitlists.
