Ask Libby

How do I return from a first (one long-session semester) scholastic dismissal?

To return from a first dismissal, you must submit an application for readmission to the Office of Admissions by the official deadline. If you miss this deadline, you will not be permitted to return to the University until the following semester.

Contact the Office of Admissions for more information at (512)
475-7399. Upon your return from a one-semester dismissal, you will be
on scholastic probation. If you fail to meet minimum academic standards
by the end of this semester, you will be placed on scholastic dismissal
for 3 consecutive years.
