What is a Foreign Language Proficiency

The Bachelor of Arts degree in the College of Liberal Arts
requires a level of proficiency equals to or above the completion of the fourth
semester in one language. The course numbers and the total number of hours
needed to meet this requirement vary depending on language. Check here
for information about foreign languages at UT and the sequences of classes to
complete the 4th semester proficiency. Check with Student Testing
