Liberal Arts Online Courses

The College of Liberal Arts offers numerous online courses. Here are a few highlights:

  • The College of Liberal Arts is proud to offer the world's first-ever synchronous massic online course (SMOC), Psychology 101, with Drs. Jamie Pennebaker and Sam Gosling. Read more and enroll here.
  • The University has partnered with edX to offer eight courses, which include two College of Liberal Arts professor-led classes taught by Dr. John Hoberman and Dr. Daniel Bonevac. Enroll here.
  • University Extension offers evening credit and non-credit courses for college credit, professional development, or self-enrichment. Enroll here.

Professional Development and Continuing Education

  • Master of Arts in Economics - The MA program offered by the Department of Economics offers a rigorous curriculum with quantitative training in economics. The program began in the 2013-14 academic year, with an initial cohort of 40 students.
