The Evaluation of the pottery from Banbhore, Pakistan: Dr. Kaleem Lashari

Dr. Lashari is a trained archeologist who has done extensive work in Sindh, Pakistan. He is currently at the University of Wisconsin on a Fulbright. In Pakistan, apart from editing the only archeological journal of the country he is also past president of the archeological society of Pakistan. His current position in Pakistan is as the Director of Sind Archives, the major archives of the Province of Sind.

Bhanbore is on the Southern West coast of Pakistan and has historical linkage with the Indian Ocean, Persian Gulf trade. His talk is entitled "The Evaluation of the pottery from Banbhore, Pakistan". This event is sponsored by the South Asia Institute and is part of their regular Thursday seminar series, and co-sponsored by the Department of Anthropology.
