Lab 3 - Movement, Part II

Mon, February 4, 2008

Lab this week was about training cadets on the various types of movement formations and hand and arm signals. It was great training for the older cadets (MS IIIs) because we had to teach what we learned and explain how and why we move in a wooded terrain area. For example, explaining hand and arm signals prior to going through the woods allowed us not to talk as much.

It was awesome training for the younger cadets (MSIs and MSIIs) because they were able to learn new things or refresh thier memory from what they learned last year and implement it during training. It is a wonderful experience training in areas similar to what we may deal with in our future. I think that training the way we fight will make us become better officers in the future.
