Students will also acquire fundamental knowledge of Japanese grammatical structures and knowledge of the Japanese culture.

JPN 611D • Intermediate Japanese

The main objective of this course is to develop four communication language skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) at the intermediate level. Students will acquire not only knowledge about the language (grammar, vocabulary and expressions) but also competence in using the language through daily activities in communication. Prerequisites: JPN 507/610D or the equivalent with a grade of at least C.
