Tips or FAQs
- Please pay particular attention to any clauses that require payment of a penalty for cancellations or unused room blocks, and to the deadlines associated with these penalties. It is a good idea to add a reminder to your calendar a few days before each deadline. The conference center and hotel will not waive these fees if you miss a deadline, and there is nothing that the Dean’s office will be able to do to convince them otherwise. The conference center uses a standard contract (http://www.utexas.edu/business/vp/contracts_agreements/forms/att_conf_center.pdf)
