Professor James Cobb will give a talk on "SEARCHING FOR SOUTHERN IDENTITY" on Friday, January 27, at noon, in Garrison 100. Professor Cobb, the Spalding Distinguished Professor of Southern History at the University of Georgia and a former president of the Southern Historical Association, is the author of numerous books, including AWAY DOWN SOUTH: A HISTORY OF SOUTHERN IDENTITY, published last year by Oxford University Press.
