Across the Divide Exhibition Receives Gold Addy Award, Madison/Milwaukee District

Across the Divide exhibition focuses on a shared cultural identity over differing geopolitical convictions under the large frame of Chinese culture with work by twenty-five contemporary Chinese artists who are currently working in academia across the United States. Across the Divide was organized by the Crossman Gallery at The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and presented in partnership with Center for Asian American Studies at The University of Texas at Austin.

The ADDY Awards are the World's Largest Advertising Competition. The ADDY Awards represent the true spirit of creative excellence by recognizing all forms of advertising from media of all types, creative by all sizes and entrants of all levels from anywhere in the world.
The Across the Divide entry received a Gold ADDY Award in the Madison/Milwaukee 2012 ADDYs. The award show will be held on February 25th at the Union South in Madison. Since this publication won a Gold ADDY it will automatically be forwarded on to the District ADDY competition. If it wins a Gold ADDY at the District level, it will then be advanced to the National ADDY competition.
