  • Longhorn Center for Civic Engagement
    The Longhorn Center for Civic Engagement is your hub for service at UT, inside the classroom and out.
  • Out Youth
    Out Youth is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support and provide services to gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth ages 12 to 19 in Austin and Central Texas.
  • Refugee Services of Texas
    A professional agency providing quality resettlement for refugees and other displaced peoples from around the world.
  • Safe Place
    Based in Austin, Safe Place provides services and counseling to survivors of domestic violence. Volunteer opportunities available.

  • Asian American Journalists Association
    A New York-based resource for Asian American artists, AAAA is always looking for volunteers and offers member benefits to those who help out.
  • The Asian American Writers' Workshop
    Established in 1991, The Asian American Writers' Workshop, Inc. is a non-profit literary arts organization dedicated to the creation, development, publication and dissemination of Asian American literature.
  • Center for Asian American Media
    SFIAAFF, the nation's largest showcase of Asian/Asian American films.
  • East-West Players
    As the nation's premier Asian American theatre organization, East West Players produces outstanding works and educational programs that give voice to the Asian Pacific American experience.
  • International Arts and Artists
    With International Arts & Artists, travel and learn. IA&A offers visa assistance, training classes, study tours, and internship programs around the world.
  • Kearney Street Workshop
    The mission of Kearny Street Workshop is to produce and present art that enriches and empowers Asian Pacific American communities by connecting APA artist with community members to give voice to their cultural, historical, and contemporary issues. KSW provides internship opportunities.
  • Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Program
    Smithsonian internships are designed to increase the education and professional skills of undergraduate and graduate students, and other individuals contemplating careers, in the professions, academic disciplines, and administrative functions represented at the Smithsonian.

  • Asian Pacific Environmental Network
    APEN has internships in fundraising, communications, state policy, civic engagement, and local campaigns in Northern California.
  • Pacific Environment
    Pacific Environment offers environmental advocacy internships. Applicants should have one or more of the following qualities: Chinese or Russian language proficiency, social media and web skills, an interest in fundraising, and an interest in working at a small nonprofit.
