African Feminisms and Women's Spirituality

The Annual Africa Seminar Series is an opportunity to engage in guided informal
dialogue around African Diasporic Feminisms based on specific texts by leading
international scholars/artists/activists.

This year, author of the book "Our Mothers, Our Powers, Our Texts: Manifestations
of Aje in Africana Literature," Dr. Washington will give a two hour lecture.

The Annual Africa Seminar Series is an opportunity to engage in guided informal
dialogue around African Diasporic Feminisms based on specific texts by leading
international scholars/artists/activists.

Reading materials are available for pickup at the Center for African and African
American Studies front office located in Jester Center A232. Materials will be
available via campus mail by request.
