CASA Selection Process
The CASA Fellowship Selection Committee, comprised of faculty from Consortium member schools, meets in early-March to review application materials and select fellows for the upcoming academic year. Each applicant is evaluated based on a combination of factors:
- Statement of Purpose
- Letters of Reference
- Grades from transcripts
- Score on proficiency exam
The selection process is competitive and applicants selected for participation in the program must demonstrate strength in all of the areas listed above. A high score on the proficiency exam alone does not necessarily guarantee admission to the program.
Applicants are notified of the committee's decision via email in mid-March.
