CASA Selection Process
The CASA fellowship selection committee, comprised of faculty from Consortium member schools, meets in early-March to review application materials and select fellows for the upcoming academic year. Each applicant is evaluated based on a combination of factors:
- statement of purpose
- letters of reference
- grades from transcripts
- score on written exam
The selection process is competitive and applicants selected for participation in the program must demonstrate strength in all of the areas listed above. A high score on the written exam alone does not necessarily guarantee admission to the program.
Applicants are notified of the committee's decision via email in mid-March.
