Education: B.A. in English Literature from Cairo University. M.A. in Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language, American University in Cairo, 1996.
She has taught Modern Standard Arabic, reading, writing, media and Egyptian Colloquial Arabic at various levels. She taught at Middlebury College during the summers of 2000 and 2003. She is also an IB Arabic examiner.
