CASA Applicants

Before applying to CASA, please carefully read all the various parts of the this section of the website for "Applicants", in addition to the information contained in the "Programs" section.
If you are interested in applying to the CASA I summer only program or the CASA I full year program, you will need to complete a 3-part application process which includes:
- submitting an application form and supporting documents
- taking a written exam to assess listening, reading and writing skills
- participating in a phone interview to rate speaking ability.
We have included important details regarding each of these components via links from this page. Be sure to read all the information as you complete the application process. The application form is quite extensive, so allow ample time to complete the form and obtain supporting documents. In preparation for the written exam, we suggest reviewing the sample exams available on the website.
If you are interested in applying to the CASA II or CASA III programs, you will need to complete the appropriate application form and participate in a phone interview with the CASA Executive Director. In most cases, you will NOT be required to take a written selection exam; however, this may be required in some situations.
Again, detailed information regarding completing the application form, preparing for the written exam, scheduling the oral interview, etc. is available on the accompanying web pages. Please read through this information, along with the relevant "Programs" pages which include links for downloading application forms.
Please contact the CASA administrative office at The University of Texas if you have questions regarding the application process.
