Stacy I. Macías, a CMAS Carlos E. Castañeda Postdoctoral Fellow in Mexican American Studies for the 2011/2012 academic year, will discuss her current research. Dr. Macías holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Women's Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles. The title of her plática is "Assembling Ensembles: The Cultural Politics of Disposability and Desire in Latina Fashion Lines."
