The Center for Mexican American Studies (CMAS) will host the final 2011-2012 CMAS Faculty Research Pláticas on Tuesday, April 17, 2012.
"Transnational Communalism in Contemporary Latina/o Novels", John Morán Gonzalez, Associate Professor, Department of English.
"MALDEF: Born into Crosswinds of the Chicano Movement", Maggie Rivas-Rodriguez, Associate Professor, School of Journalism.
The 2011-2012 CMAS Faculty Research Pláticas are presented by CMAS faculty affiliates who were awarded a CMAS Faculty Research Fellowship during the 2010-2011 academic year.
