CMAS Faculty Research Plática: Deborah Paredez

The Center for Mexican American Studies (CMAS) will host a CMAS Faculty Research Plática for Deborah Paredez, Associate Professor in the Department of English, on Wednesday, April 10, 2013. The title of her plática is "Blue and Full of Stars." This plática will focus on Dr. Paredez's poetry manuscript, which engages issues of gender and memory through an account of a Mexican-American woman who is suffering from Alzheimer's disease.
The CMAS Faculty Research Pláticas are presented by CMAS faculty affiliates who were awarded a CMAS Faculty Research Fellowship during the previous academic year.
