CMAS Research Clusters

The goal of the CMAS research clusters is to provide participants with the opportunity to present their research in either cultural or policy studies to an audience of colleagues for their feedback. Research projects by individuals or groups at various stages of development might also be presented in either cluster. The research clusters were formed in the fall semester 2008 and will continue in the 2009/2010 academic year.
The CMAS Cultural Studies Research Cluster is chaired by Dr. Deborah Paredez, Associate Professor, Department of Theatre and Dance and Associate Director, Center for Mexican American Studies.
The CMAS Policy Studies Research Cluster is chaired by Dr. David Leal, Associate Professor, Department of Government and Director, Irma Rangel Public Policy Institute.
