Dr. Mike Hirsch, Department of Social and Behavioral Sciencest, Huston-Tillotson University 

Utilizing a longitudinal framework drawn from Role Theory in Sociology, this talk explores the career paths and experiences of Russian Cosmonauts. How does one become a cosmonaut? Does time in space influence the way in which one understands life on Earth? How does time in space affect relationships with family and friends? These are among the many questions that will be discussed at this brown bag talk.
