Talk: "Social & Behavioral Science Research Opportunities with the Army Research Office," by Dr. Lisa Troyer

If you are interested in social science grant opportunities with the U.S. Army Research Office, please feel free to join us for a discussion with Dr. Lisa Troyer of the U.S. Army Research Office (ARO). She will be giving a talk entitled "Social & Behavioral Science Research Opportunities with the Army Research Office" on Tuesday, March 18, 2014, from 1:00 - 2:30pm, in the Avaya Auditorium (POB 2.302). This informal discussion will provide an overview of ARO's funding programs in social and behavioral sciences, as well as information on how researchers can work with ARO in the future.
Lisa Troyer is a social scientist at ARO assisting the U.S. Army in developing its basic research program in the social and behavioral sciences. In this capacity, she serves as the Army's point-of-contact for the Department of Defense's Minerva Initiative aimed at assisting the government in learning from and supporting the work of social and behavioral scientists.
