On Saturday, November 5, Bernadetta Kaminska’s Polish classes participated in “Celebrate Me! Poland!” at the George Washington Carver Museum and Cultural Center in East Austin. Volunteers welcomed guests, served Polish foods, did the Dragon of Cracow craft activity with children, and provided information on famous cultural leaders. CREEES grad student Elliott Nowacky gave a talk on the History of Poland. The Austin Polish Society also participated in this cultural event.
