Américo Paredes Center Welcomes New Faculty Member, Craig Campbell

Assistant Professor Craig Campbell received his Ph.D. in Theory and Culture from the University of Alberta where he was also the Co-coordinator and manager of the Intermedia Research Studio. www.intermedia.ualberta.ca

Craig's undergraduate course for the fall is "The Photographic Image."

“I work in the realm of ethnographic and documentary images. My research and visual experiments explore the possibility for failed, defaced, degraded, and damaged photographs to activate interpretive fields typically unacknowledged in conventional ethnographies and histories."
