NEW Leadership™Development Network (NLDN)
Center for American Women and Politics (CAWP)
The NEW Leadership™ Network is a national bi-partisan program developed by the Center for American Women and Politcs (CAWP) at Rutger's University to address the underrepresentation of women in American politics.
The Development Network is CAWP’s initiative to establish NEW Leadership™ programs at colleges and universities across the United States. Since 1999, CAWP has been working with educational institutions across the country to help them plan and initiate NEW Leadership™ programs on their home campuses.
The Development Network currently includes 21 colleges and universities serving women in 25 states. To date, more than 3500 college women have participated in regional NEW Leadership™ programs.
