Course Description
This course is designed to provide students a comprehensive historical and sociological overview of media, including identity constructions of racial and ethnic minority groups, gender and class, issues and leaders contextualizing the minority experience. Thus topics about women focus on minority women. The chronological focus is WWII to the present.
