Course Description
This course offers a comprehensive overview of current research and theory in the study of adult development, aging, and health from a life-span developmental perspective. The interacting influences of biological, psychological, and social factors on functioning in adulthood and aging are considered in the course. The course takes an optimistic approach to the study of the aging process, and considers the potential for successful aging.
