Lora Romero Memorial Graduate Award for Interdisciplinary Research in Race, Ethnicity and Gender

This scholarship is an annual award created in memory of former UT colleague, Lora Romero. The award will honor and support students investigating the intersection between race, ethnicity and gender. Scholarship to be awarded at the Annual Spring Reception in late April/early May, date TBA.

Requirements:

• Application Form (3 copies)
• A single-sentence description of the attached paper (3 copies)
• A paper which contributes to increased understanding of the intersection between race, ethnicity and gender (3 copies)

***Application materials must be properly collated into three packets.***

Essays and applications must be received by 5pm on March 11th 2009 in WWH 401.
