Tara Melish on Collapsing Social Rights

Tara Melish, Associate Professor of Law & Director of the Human Rights Center at the University at Buffalo Law School, SUNY will present "From Monuments to Ladders: Collapsing Social Rights Typologies into a More Usable, Enforcement-Oriented Schema" as part of the Rapoport Center's Fall Happy Hour Series.
Professor Tara Melish is a specialist in the area of international law and human rights, particularly with respect to comparative approaches to the protection of economic, social and cultural rights. Prior to coming to UB Law, she taught as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Law at the University of Notre Dame. She has also taught on the law faculties of the University of Virginia, George Washington University, the University of Georgia, Oxford University, and Abo Akademi University. She received her J.D. from Yale Law School and her B.A. from Brown University.
