Only bad girls get raped: Television viewing and rape myth acceptance. -- While prior research has shown that people who consume pornographic media are more likely to accept rape myths, this study links the acceptance of such myths to general, daily television use. This study also finds that people who watch more television are more likely to believe that rape accusations are false and it confirms a negative relationship between liberal political ideology and rape myth acceptance.
