Troop 1500 explores the lives of five girl scouts whose mothers are incarcerated at Hilltop Prison in Gatesville, Texas. Troop 1500 examines the delicate relationship between mothers and daughters in one of the most marginalized segments of the community. The film also features the UT School of Social Work, Dean Darlene Grant and others from the University of Texas at Austin. There will be a discussion following the screening.
