CWGS Faculty Fellows are also invited to participate in faculty development workshops on teaching, obtaining grants and fellowships, and the promotion process.

This semesters' s Teaching Workshop will address: • the challenges of large lecture classes; • issues faced by women and minorities professors; • understanding the learning environment.

Our panelists are represented by colleges and departments across campus and include: Dr. Kefferlyn Brown (Curriculum and Instruction), Dr. Daniel Hamermesh (Economics), Dr. Christine Williams (Sociology), and Dr. Michelle Young (Educational Administration).

We welcome and encourage your presence in support of our new faculty fellows. Included, you will find a copy of the event flyer for dissemination among your college or department faculty.
