Gloria J Lee

Gloria Lee, a graduate from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (S.B., Political Science), and the Yale School of Art (M.F.A. Graphic Design), has founded a collaborative design studio, Buds Design Kitchen, which works in software and multimedia prototyping, and print design. Professor Lee's recent work has been directed toward issues of organizational systems, communication and the role that visual communication can play. By applying professional and entrepreneurial work in grass-roots agricultural and educational organizations, she assists in a change of larger designed systems. She also maintains a strong interest in questions of information design, high modernism and efficiency, and third world/ethnic feminism.
