Biography
Dr. Page is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Nursing. She has been a faculty member at UT Austin School of Nursing since January 1998, first as an Instructor of Clinical Nursing and since completion of her PhD in December 2006 as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Nursing.
Dr. Page received her undergraduate degree (BS in Nursing) from the University of Kentucky in Lexington in 1987, her Master of Science in Nurse-Midwifery from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver in 1994 and her PhD from the University of Texas at Austin in 2006. She also completed a doctoral portfolio in Mexican American studies at UT Austin.
In addition to her faculty role, Dr. Page is a Certified Nurse Midwife, providing well-woman and prenatal care one day per week at a private OB/GYN practice in Austin, Texas.
She lives in Dripping Springs, Texas with her husband Walt (also an RN) and her 2 children: Josh (born April 1993) and Vanessa (born July 1995).
