Research interests:Dr. Zhu's research interests focus on developing rapid non-destructive testing (NDT) methods and innovative sensing techniques for infrastructure and buildings. She is one of the major investigators of the air-coupled NDT method for concrete. Her future research plan includes structural repair evaluation, wireless NDT, NDT in construction quality control, and advanced sensing technology for sustainable buildings.
