Race, Ethnicity and Gender Research Cluster

The Race, Ethnicity & Gender Research Cluster will bring together a group of interested faculty members representing an interdisciplinary perspective on scholarship and research related to the intersection of gender and race/ethnicity. The cluster will sponsor a blend of interdisciplinary programs on a broad range of topics addressing how race and ethnicity shape and influence gender issues. Potential Activities for the Race/Ethnicity & Gender Cluster include monthly informal talks for interested faculty, film and theatre events, community outreach projects, speaker series, seminars, and conferences involving UT and other leading scholars in the area of race/ethnicity & gender.
