Texas Asia Conference: General Information
2008 Texas Asia Conference, a graduate student conference on Asia, is held at the University of Texas at Austin on October 10th and 11th, 2008. This two-day conference is organized and run entirely by graduate students, with the goal of bringing together young scholars from different academic disciplines and with varying regional specialties.
The conference not only provides a unique forum where graduate students can share research and interact with one another in an academic setting, but because of the pan-Asian nature of our event we attempt to bridge the lines between regional specialties in a way that promotes interdisciplinary discussion.
