Giving: Support the Center for East Asian Studies

We invite all individuals who are interested in East Asian studies to support our Center. Our goal is to increase awareness and knowledge of China, Japan, North and South Korea, and Taiwan by facilitating multidisciplinary teaching and research.  There are several ways to support the Center:  an unrestricted gift through the university's annual giving program, a planned gift for the future through the creation of an endowment, or consider providing an outright gift today. In addition to enriching the community, these giving opportunities often carry special tax incentives. Support from our alumni and friends is more important than ever as state funds continue to decline.  We would not be where we are today without your generosity.

Your tax-deductible gift to the Center for East Asian Studies will help us fulfill a number of objectives, including:

  • Sponsoring special guest lecturers, conferences and symposia on campus
  • Faculty expansion
  • Creating student study abroad and summer internship opportunities
  • Funding graduate student fellowships
  • Supporting the East Asian Graduate Student Forum
  • Expanding the Center's community outreach program

Online Giving:

At the College of Liberal Arts Online Giving secure website you may use American Express, Discover, Master Card or Visa to make an electronic one-time gift or divide your annual gift into two, four or twelve monthly payments.

Be sure that "East Asian Studies, Center for" is selected in the drop-down box to ensure your gift is marked specifically for CEAS.
