East Asian Cinemas Symposium
Posted: February 1, 2010
The East Asian Cinemas Symposium was a two-day symposium designed to bring together a group of scholars working in the national cinemas of China, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, and Taiwan to discuss the issues surrounding the notion of a “regional cinema.” On Fridays in the weeks leading up to the symposium, there was a series of East Asian Film Screenings on campus that were free and open to the university community and the public.
The symposium took place March 6-7 in the Meyerson Conference Room. To learn more, go to the conference website.
