The Distinguished Lectures in East Asia: "North Korea: Perspectives and Prospects"
Posted: February 26, 2007
The lecture will be held from 5:00-6:30 pm on Monday, April 16, 2007, in the Alumni Center Ballroom (2110 San Jacinto), and is open to all interested faculty, students, and members of the greater Austin community. The audience is welcome to join us for a reception immediately following the lecture.
This is the second lecture in a three-part series sponsored by the Center for East Asian Studies, the Center for Business Education and Research (CIBER), the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs, and Strasburger, Attorneys at Law. Last October, Mr. Bill Emmott, former editor-in-chief of The Economist, launched the series with a talk on Japan's changing role in the region; on November 5, 2007, Mr. Robert Hormats, Vice-Chairman at Goldman Sachs, will lecture on China.
There will be a reception following the lecture.
