"Texas/EU Summit"

Wednesday, May 3, 2012 • AT&T Conference Center

The Summit's main focus is to promote trade and investment opportunities between Texas and the EU.  The event is organized jointly by the European Union Center of Excellence at UT Austin, The University of Texas at Austin, International Business Institute - Austin Community College and in conjunction with the US Export Assistance Center - US Department of Commerce, the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, and the City of Austin.

Austin Mayor Lee Leffingwell is the Honorary Chair of the Summit. 

The participants will include key business leaders from the EU and Texas including those from Germany, France, the Netherlands, and the UKas well as key officials in Central Eastern Europe including the office of the Head of the Parliament of Bulgaria, Deputy PM of Romania, and many other key officials from new EU member states in addition to future EU member states such as Albania.
