Violinist Stanislav Pronin performs in recital
Description: Violinist Stanislav Pronin of Russia performs, accompanied by pianist Christopher Guzman. The recital will include a Strauss Sonat,; the Austin premiere of "PAR.TI.Ta" for solo violin written by the Russian-American composer Lera Auerbach and a selection of virtuoso compositions by Tchaikovsky, Sarasate, Rachmaninov, Ravel and Piazzolla. Co-sponsored by the College of Fine Arts and the Classical Artists Development Foundation. Pronin is artist-in-residence at the College of Fine Arts, concert master of the Austin Lyric Opera and the most recent recipient of the Artist Fellow Award from the Classical Artists Development Foundation.
