It's summer holidays, 1987. To the accompaniment of the Psychedelic Furs, Camilla (Gabriela Belisario) and mom Giovanna (Laura Morante) settle into a luxurious villa on the Tuscan seaside. With her mother's neuroses heightened by a cheating husband (Andrea Renzi) and oodles of empty time, Camilla turns her need for attention onto the unlikely subject of 17-year-old pool-boy Adelmo (Iacopo Petrini), but he's not interested in her Lolita act until she starts lying about her life to make him either impressed or sympathetic.
