EU-US Distinguished Business and Politics Lecture Series

Thu, October 20, 2011 • 4:00 PM • AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center, Room 105

This Thursday, the EU Ambassador to the US will deliver a talk at UT entitled “Why the Euro Will Survive”.  The speech is free and open to all, and will include an opportunity for Q&A and a reception with the Ambassador afterwards.

We hope you will be able to attend this important event, which is the inaugural address in the “EU-US Distinguished Business and Politics Lecture Series” co-sponsored by the McCombs School (Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER)) and the College of Liberal Arts (Center for European Studies).  Ambassador Vale de Almeida is a thoughtful and interesting speaker, as you can see, for example, in this recent clip from C-SPAN’s Washington Journal and the future of the Euro is something that everyone in business needs to assess.

Reception following the lecture at Gabriel's Cafe in the AT&T Center
Cost: FREE
