Cinematic Responses to RAF - Terrorism
Deutschland im Herbst is the collective effort of 11 directors intending to capture the traumatic events Germany experienced 1977, when the industrialist Hans Martin Schleier was kidnapped, and later murdered by the left-wing terrorists known as the RAF-Rote Armee Fraktion (Red Army Faction). Being a mix of original footage and fictional scenes, the film resembles a unique take on the topic and offers different critical perspectives and arguments pertaining to the political challenges the country had to face at the time.
This film will be shown with English subtitles.
