May 2, 2007 Professor Claudio Magris, an expert on Central Europe from the University of Trieste, will present a lecture entitled "Between the Danube and the Sea: The Journey of a Writer." Nobel-Prize candidate Claudio Magris is Professor of Modern German Literature at the University of Trieste, Italy. He has published seminal studies on the relationship between Italian and Germanic cultures and on the importance of Central Europe's cultural milieu. | |
