Carol F. Justus, Director
With the death of Dr. Carol F. Justus on August 1, 2007, the Hittite Abbreviations and associated projects that she occasionally worked on became defunct. Not knowing Carol's methods or sources, nor her project goals which were pursued from time to time then apparently suspended, the Linguistics Research Center reluctantly decided to shelve these materials.
Carol's Hittite Abbreviations and associated web pages may or may not have contained "complete" data, but they did contain content that could not be displayed in all web browsers, as well as invalid (hence "dead") web links. As a consequence, those pages are being deleted from this server. Unfortunately the LRC is not aware of any equivalent work, hence we cannot point to like pages elsewhere on the web.
