Biography
Letisha Brown is a PhD. student in the Department of Sociology at the University of Texas at Austin. Her main research interest is the study of the body from the standpoint of the intersection of race, gender and sexuality. More specifically, she is interested in representations of black female bodies in sport as well as issues of body image and eating behaviors from multiple perspectives.
