Morgan Meyer

Morgan has previously studied self-esteem and body image among college-aged females as it pertains to image management on the social media site, Facebook. Her current research interests include eating disorder expression among different ethnicities. Do certain ethnicities have lower incidences of eating disorders or is it that different ethnicities express eating disorder issues in different ways? Morgan hopes to look at the element of psychological control and the difference this element has in the expression of eating disorders across ethnicities. Also of interest to Morgan is researching eating disorder treatment plans in a multicultural context. In particular, she is interested in the ways in which these treatment plans should differ for different ethnicities.
